‘Jahaji Music: India in the Caribbean’ is a documentary film directed by Surabhi Sharma and based on Tejaswini Niranjana’s research on Trinidad and Jamaica. Shot in those locations in 2004, the film follows Indian rockstar Remo Fernandes to his jamming sessions with Caribbean musicians. Some of the finest living Caribbean singers are featured here: The Mighty Sparrow, Sizzla, Lady Saw, David Rudder, Drupatee Ramgoonai, Rikki Jai, and Ataklan.
